The Proof is 4 Million Strong: Exercise Can Reduce the Risk of Breast Cancer!

News flash from France: Exercise is good for the boobs! Expert researchers from Lyon, France have determined, through the resulting evidence from over four million women from 1987 to 2013, that exercise significantly reduces your risk of breast cancer.

It doesn’t matter who you are—the lifelong Sporty Spice, Baby Boomer, Generation X-er or Millennial—everyone can get a little stronger and significantly reduce the risk of breast cancer by heeding this simple bit of health advice: one hour a day of exercise will cut your risk by 12 percent. What!? Yup—it's that’s kind of a big huge deal. Of course, as these things go, the more vigorously active you are, the better chance you have to lower your risk—but every bit helps!

Leave it to those nude-loving Frenchies to bring us such breast-tastic news. Last year they informed us that bras were actually contributing to the sag we thought they were preventing.

Merci, France, for having our backs . . . er, our fronts.
