Happy #NationalCoffeeDay!

In today's HELLO, OBVIOUSLY news: National Coffee Day. Or, as the cool kids call it, #nationalcoffeeday — because if it doesn't have a hashtag it's not a real thing.

We have National Donut Day (June 3) and National Drink Beer Day (September 28. SHIT, that was yesterday and I totally forgot to tell you).Tomorrow is National Ask A Stupid Question Day (do not ask me any stupid questions, I will ignore you). Other exciting holidays: Wiggle Your Toes Day (August 6, I don't even understand that). National Public Sleep Day (February 28, that's not weird AT ALL). AND coming up on October 3rd, National Virus Day, a day created to pay homage to your favorite cold/flu/herpes.

Now, normally, I would think that nationally observed days to celebrate things like wearing a Hawaiian shirt (third Friday in August, FYI), are absurd. But #nationalcoffeeday is something I can get behind. In fact, I fully support an entire year devoted to the celebration of coffee. IN FACT, I fully support EVERY DAY FOREVER being about coffee — with an occasional overlapping Tequila Day (and by occasional I mean every Friday and Saturday, and every other Monday).

WAIT. Capitalism...I wonder if Starbucks made this up? Oh wait, DO NOT CARE.
