Heroin, Painkillers, Booze? Nope...the Internet. China Sends its Technology-Addicted Youth to Rehab

As someone who is on public transit in a major U.S. city on a daily basis, there is no denying that non-stop internet usage has become an epidemic in our culture — between games, news, video and social media, humans from zero to 100 are constantly over-gorging themselves on online fodder. China's response to its growing population of internet-addicted youth? Military-style rehabilitation facilities, complete with lectures to parents on the source of the addiction. Would Internet rehab translate to America? We'd have to pull our noses out of Candy Crush long enough to find out.
