Bio

Ann Gaffigan grew up playing sports and ran track for the University of Nebraska from 2000-2004. In 2004, she won the Olympic Trials in the 3000m steeplechase and set an American Record. The steeplechase however was not an event for women in the Olympics until 2008. Gaffigan is a computer programmer and has run her own company since 2004, and is now based in the Kansas City area. She helped co-found WomenTalkSports.com in 2009. Her daughter Jaelyn is 5 years old.
