The Dig Is On For Awful Atari Game

The legend continues! Atari's "E.T. the Extra Terrestrial" is widely considered to be one of the worst video games ever produced, so much so that Atari reputedly buried cartridges of it en masse in the desert of New Mexico. Naturally, the game has since assumed a sort of cult status, and gamers are dying to dig up the ruins. But while there was chatter that the dig was soon to happen, today authorities halted the fun pending an environmental report. Usually, we'd side with the environmentalists here, but it would be all kinds of cool to watch an excavation of an old-school video game in the desert! I mean, right?

Personally, we think the toilet book sounds like a winner. But then again, we happen to find restroom behavior super fascinating.

Happy Birthday, Twitter!

In any case, #hpy bday 2 u @twitter! #omgwewillneverbethesame
