For everyone who is cringing at election coverage that includes Gloria Steinem saying dumb stuff about Bernie supporters being in it to meet boys and Donald Trump calling Ted Cruz a pussy, we have some new data for you to consider.

The good people at boston.com have broken down how much each Presidential hopeful has spent on Dunkin' Donuts. They combed through candidate expenditure filings to figure out who has time to make for donuts and who is going to Starbucks instead.

Team Hillary is Team Donut with $1,866 in Dunkin' Donuts receipts, including three separate purchases in the $300 range. No word on whether Hill-dawg herself is a fan of crullers or jelly-filled.

New England native Bernie Sanders disappoints on the hometown chain support with only a couple hundred dollars worth of donut receipts. The Bern does not feel the burn of Dunkin’ coffee that much, I guess.

On the Republican side, low-polling Jeb Bush is the leader in donut consumption, with his campaign racking up over $400 in Dunkin’ expenses. Carly Florina and John Kasich stayed out of Dunkin’ Donuts altogether. Whether that’s a dietary choice or a loyalty to donuts from their own regions is unclear.

Marco Rubio and company made a decent showing at Dunkin’ Donuts with almost $300 in expenditures. He likes to spread the love around, though, having racked up an equal amount at Starbucks. Who said Republicans don’t understand diversity?
